MEET BBQ PITMASTER HARRY SOO
Slap Yo Daddy BBQ is the love child of BBQ Pitmasters Head Cook Harry Soo. Preparing a bucket list of wishes, he started competing in barbecue circuits in 2008. His co-worker Janice, after organizing a fundraiser, helped Harry serve BBQ brisket to several dozen co-workers, many of whom were African American with roots in the South. They received many compliments, including, “This is the best BBQ I’ve eaten! You should enter a contest!” And the rest, as they say, is history.
