A classic! With KOOPMANS Fijne Cake you can bake a real airy, authentic Dutch cake. The Fijne Cake is a complete mix – just add butter, eggs and milk. PREPARATION: Place rack slightly below center of oven and preheat (160°C). Grease cake tin with butter and dust inside with flour. Beat 150gr butter with mixer in a mixing bowl until soft and creamy. Add package, 50ml milk and 4 eggs. Stir with mixer on lowest setting for 1 min until smooth. Then beat batter with mixer on highest setting for about 2 mins to a light batter. Put batter in cake tin. Bake cake for 60-70 mins until done and golden brown. Remove cake from tin and let cool on a wire rack. Enjoy! Variation: You can vary with cake by mixing extra ingredients into batter: 4 tbsp rum, 3 tbsp gingerbread spices, 2 tbsp instant coffee, the grated zest of half an orange or lemon or 100 gr chopped almonds.
